News Alert: Autism Survey Lets Us Be Heard!

Please view & complete this very important Autism survey by the Society of California:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CKM9GCG .  Your participation is invaluable in guiding autism public policy such as the autism insurance mandate (SB 946 hearing on March 4th; draft agenda attached). Please forward this message to other interested individuals and organizations.

Hi, everyone,

The Autism Society of California released our 2014 California Autism Survey last week.  A number of important topics are explored in the survey.  The survey will be open through Wednesday, February 5, 2014 for input by parents, guardians and individuals with autism.

As parents and leaders in the autism and disability communities, we are asking your assistance in helping us share the survey far and wide.  It is very important that we receive a high rate of response on the survey.  The results and data from the insurance portion of the survey are going to be used during an upcoming Senate Hearing being hosted by Senator Steinberg’s Office in March.  The information we collect will be shared during the hearing and will assist us in effectively informing Senator Steinberg and his colleagues on the successes and challenges families have experienced since the passage and implementation of SB 946.

Thank you in advance for your collaboration and confidence in the Autism Society of California.  It is our honor and pleasure to serve individuals with autism spectrum disorders, their families and the professionals and agencies who serve them.
Sincerely,

Marcia Eichelberger
President
Autism Society of California

  1. As a grandparent and occasional caretaker over the years, I took the survey, answering questions to the best of my ability
