Today I had a new person come over to help me clean the house. The first thing I did after "hello" was tell her about Nick, so she would be prepared for...well whatever. I'm glad I told her because Nick kept going up to her and touching her belly. She thought it was because she had a tummy and she assumed Nick thought she was pregnant. I heard her say "no baby". Truth be told Nick just likes to poke tummies!.
We cleaned and before she left she shared "I'm so impressed, he's so independent. Thank you so much for telling me he has autism. I worked for one family who's son had autism. He kept hitting me, and hitting me, no one told me. So, thank you".
